Something not working, or a question the answers below do not cover? Get in touch and a person will reply.
We aim to reply within one working day. If you are reporting a problem, telling us the plot or project name and roughly when it happened makes it far quicker to find.
Open the project, tap the share icon in the header, then choose PDF Report or CSV Spreadsheet. The PDF includes every photograph, the developer's responses and a summary by room and trade.
Exporting is a paid feature. You can either subscribe to Pro for unlimited exports, or pay £9.99 once to unlock a single project.
The unlock is recorded on our servers a moment after Apple confirms the payment, so give it a few seconds and try the export again. You will not be charged twice.
If it is still locked after a minute or two, email us with the project name and we will sort it out. Your payment is safe — Apple has a record of it regardless of what the app shows.
No. Once you have paid to unlock a project, you can export that project as many times as you like, for as long as you have the app. That matters for re-inspections: you can produce a report at handover and another after the developer has rectified, without paying again.
It covers that one project only. A second property needs its own unlock.
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple, so they are cancelled in your device settings rather than in SnagRight:
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — we never see your payment details and cannot issue one. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Sign in with the same SnagRight account, then open the upgrade screen from Settings and tap Restore Purchase. Use the same Apple ID you originally purchased with.
Your projects and photographs come back automatically when you sign in, as they are stored in your account rather than only on the device.
Yes — that is the point of it. Every snag, photograph and note is saved on your device as you capture it, and syncs when you get back to coverage. Nothing waits on a connection, and nothing is lost if you lose one mid-inspection.
Exporting a report and the AI enhancement do need a connection, since both involve our servers.
Tap Forgotten your password? on the sign-in screen and enter your email address. We will send you a link to choose a new one.
If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder before trying again.
In the app, go to Settings, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm twice, because it cannot be undone.
Deleting your account permanently removes every project, snag, photograph and setting, from your device and from our servers.
Export anything you need before you delete. We cannot recover it afterwards.
They are stored in your account, on servers in the United Kingdom, and are visible only to you. We do not use them for anything else, and we do not sell or share your data.
The privacy policy sets out exactly what we collect and why.
Entirely. It runs only when you tap it on a specific snag, and it sends only that snag's description — never your photographs, your email address or your other snags. Every other part of the app works without it.
No. SnagRight records and reports what you find; it is not a structural survey, a homebuyer's report, or an inspection by a qualified surveyor, and the reference material is general guidance rather than a replacement for the published standards or professional advice.
The spirit level and Part M checker depend on your device's sensors and on correct calibration. They are useful on site, but they are not calibrated instruments.
