These terms govern your use of the SnagRight app and website. By creating an account you agree to them. Please read section 6 carefully — it explains the limits of what SnagRight is.
SnagRight is operated by Project Prepared Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17351444, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. You can reach us at enquiries@snagright.app.
You need an account to use SnagRight. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old.
SnagRight is free to download and use within the limits of the Free plan. Paid plans are as follows:
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | £0 | Up to 3 active projects, unlimited snags and photographs, all on-site tools. Report export is not included. |
| Single report export | £9.99 one-off | Unlocks export for one specific project, permanently. Not a subscription. |
| Pro | £29.99 per month or £299 per year | Unlimited projects and exports, standards reference lookup, AI enhancement, ghost re-inspection, cloud backup, and your company logo on every report. |
Prices include VAT where applicable and are shown in the App Store before you confirm. If we change the price of a plan, existing subscribers keep their existing rate for as long as their subscription remains continuously active; Apple will ask you to confirm any increase that does affect you.
As a UK consumer you normally have 14 days to change your mind about a digital purchase. That right is lost once you begin using the content, which in practice means as soon as you export a report or use a paid feature. Apple administers this on our behalf.
You may use SnagRight for your own snagging work, whether personal or commercial, including producing reports for clients.
You may not:
Your projects, snags and photographs remain yours. We claim no ownership of them. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store them, sync them between your devices and produce your reports.
You are responsible for having the right to photograph the properties you record, and for how you use the reports you produce.
SnagRight is a recording and reporting tool, not a professional survey and not legal advice. A report produced in SnagRight reflects what you recorded. It is not a structural survey, a homebuyer's report, a building regulations assessment, or an inspection by a qualified surveyor, and it should not be relied on as one.
The tolerance and standards reference material in the app is general guidance compiled for convenience. It is not a substitute for the published standards themselves, nor for professional advice. Always check the current published standard, and take professional advice where a defect matters.
The on-site tools — spirit level, Part M checker — depend on your device's sensors and on correct calibration. They are indicative aids, not calibrated instruments, and should not be used where a certified measurement is needed.
AI enhancement rewrites text you have written. It may produce wording that is inaccurate or that does not reflect what you meant. You are responsible for reading and correcting anything it produces before you send a report.
SnagRight is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the National House Building Council, any warranty provider, or any housebuilder.
We aim to keep SnagRight running but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The app is designed to work offline, so loss of connectivity should not stop you working on site. We may change or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice where a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Subject to that, we are not liable for:
Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
You may stop using SnagRight and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, and will normally give notice and a chance to put things right first.
We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects you we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use SnagRight after that means you accept the change.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
